The guide
🏛 Legacy Evolution: the civilisation outlives the universe
The universe ends; your civilisation does not. Every universe you hold to the last era scores Legacy Points and advances your civilisation one generation, and the next universe starts with a better kit than the last. You are not rebuilding the same colony over and over — you are building the next generation of it.
- Universe 1 Establish · 2 Improve · 3 Industrialise · 4 Expand · 5 Transcend. From Universe 2 every building you raise is Gen II (+8% output, +15% storage, 5% faster to build); from Universe 3, Gen III (+16%, +30%, 10%). The panel shows the mark.
- Legacy Points come from surviving (1,000), escaping through the Rift (+500), piloting it (+500), your highest building level, raids defended, expeditions and Higgs Cores — up to 3,000 a universe, plus a scenario's ending bonus. They buy the legacy perks (900 and up a level) under Commander.
- Universe 4 opens the two Legacy Wonders — the Galactic Archive (research 15% faster) and the Star Forge (ships 25% faster) — in the Rift tab of the build menu. You keep the blueprint, not the building: each universe you raise them again.
- Universe 5 makes you an Architect: one button writes a pack from the universe you have just survived — its four nearest rivals and its star, as a scenario others can play. A full editor is not built yet.
- Surviving also grants a livery voucher, good for any creator livery in the Workshop.
